Kath Peer Life
President
Prior to the AGM, at the presentation day
on 15th July, Kath Peer agreed to take up the new role of Life
President.
Kath has been President for nearly 40 years
and on the Executive Committee for many years prior to that.
Her loving late husband Len was our Auditor
for many years and they were both totally committed to table tennis locally.
Kath also was a keen Tennis player and
spent many year holidaying at Gunton Hall,
Kath has also been a lifetime worker and
supporter of the local Girl Guides community.
In everything she has ever done, Kath has
worked tirelessly in a very friendly manner.
As a Table Tennis player in the 40s and
50s, Kath was a formidable lady player and was our number 2 to the famed Winnie
Dakin: Kath won our doubles title on many occasions and represented our League
in the Essex Inter League.
