CHARLES UNSTOPPABLE IN FORUM TOURNAMENT

The annual Hadleigh Forum TTC tournament took place on Tuesday, 13^th February 2007 at Eastwood Community Centre.

The Handicap Singles final was a repeat of last year with Charles Sweeny (handicap scratch) overcoming Garry Hartgrove ( + 4). Charles and Garry had progressed to the final with semi-final victories over Andrew Halling ( - 4) and David Woolmer ( + 8) respectively.

Charles partnered by Paul Fawell (combined handicap + 4) were triumphant over Andrew and Terry Faires (also combined handicap + 4) in the Handicap Doubles final.

The evening was completed by a determined Charles securing a convincing win over Andrew in the final of the straight Singles event.

As always, a very enjoyable evening of table tennis.
