A fantastic day out in the country.  The map was fine until we met this bloke, “Lord Snooty” fink his name was.  “I say” he says, “this here is private property don’t you know.  My gate is always locked. How the dickens did you people find your way in here”.  Jan Philips and I replied in our best sarf Essex tones’ froo the gate mate.  It weren’t locked Guv”.  “Well you’ll just have to jolly well turn yourselves round and get orff my land (nose in the air,  sniffin the bovine excrement).  Good job Nigel wasn’t playing.  So guys beware of the toff.  It’s the second gate not the first.

Doubles

Gus and Keith won their doubles quite magnificently.  Gus and Andrew also won theirs but not in quite a so spectacular fashion, the Andrew and Keithy then lost theirs; ahhhhh bless. However a good 7-2 win for the B side in their visit to Colchester.  Thanks are conveyed to the Colchester team for the excellent food provided.  We were well supported by the Hallings and Phillips families which made it a good afternoon out.
