Sidney Dorn - the under 13 Essex Closed champion

Hullbridge player Sidney Dorn became under 13 Essex Closed champion, when he played at the Harlow Norman Booth Center on the 2nd Jan.
Sidney did this by winning all his games as he progressed to the final which was contested between Sid and his close rival from Harlow who is ranked Essex number 2, Sid played this opponent when he became Essex Number 1 in October, that was a close affair with Sid finally winning 3-2, but today was very one sided where Sid dispatched the Number Two 3-0, with some superb attacking table play never allowing this opponent to come close to him at all.
