Sidney Dorn - the Essex Scools under 13 champion

Sid won all his games today to become Essex Schools Under 13 Champion 2012. He played 6 games in total, he only dropped one game on his way to the final, where he again met Essex number 2, He went one game down at first when the pressure of playing for the School for the first time got to him, he then pulled the next one back after some calm consistent play, the pressure then transferred to his opponent and Sid took the next as calmness came over him as some fantastic rallies followed, leading 2-1 Sid reached match point, which his opponent saved and then took the match into a final game. Stunning rallies followed in the final game, where Sid showed his class to finally edge his rival to become the schools champion. He has qualified for the national schools finals in Doncaster.
